In a television ad that ran during the Super Bowl, Big Y Foods revealed that the code “I-M-B-Y” stands for “It’s My Big Y.”

In the days leading up to the Big Game, the retailer asked shoppers to guess what ”I-M-B-Y” meant. They could post their guesses on the Big Y Facebook wall with the hash tag #BigYSurprise or Tweet it at @BigYFoods, along with the hash tag #BigYSurprise.

The commercial showed two men standing at a retail counter - seemingly a jewelry counter to pick out an engagement ring.

“It’s definitely the right cut, the right price,” one man said to the other. “What about the size?"

The camera cuts to the butcher who commends the man for his selection. “All Natural Angus Filet,” the butcher says. “She’ll love it. How about a nice porterhouse for you?”

Shoppers who guessed the correct code will win prizes.
