WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee here plans to sell one million pork tenderloins during the month of January.
"We’re proud to support our local pork producers, so we’ve bought a million pork tenderloins and will be passing the savings along to our customers," the company’s website states.
Jumbo breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, made with bakery buns, will be priced at $2.88 for the entire month. For every sandwich sold, the retailer will make a donation to help support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Additional specials will be announced throughout the month as well.
