Sprouts Farmers Market is aiming to make holiday shopping easier for customers this year by offering in-store or online reservations for fresh organic or natural turkeys or fully prepared holiday meals. Sprouts is also making it easy to give back to those in need throughout the holiday season with a special donation program to support local food banks.

Now through the end of the year, shoppers can find a wide selection of quality meats, fully prepared meals, catering trays, wines and cheeses and great last-minute gift ideas at Sprouts. “Healthy holiday meals shouldn’t have to be expensive to be memorable,” says Jim Nielsen, Sprouts president and chief operating officer. “Sprouts’ better-for-you products provide an affordable, one-stop shop for busy families and all of their holiday needs.”

For customers planning to create family recipes from scratch, Sprouts offers hundreds of organic, natural, gluten-free, vegan and plant-based ingredients. Sprouts’ Old Tyme Butcher Shop is loaded with quality main course holiday meats, like organic or natural turkeys, spiral-sliced hams, and USDA Choice or Prime grade presidential cut beef rib roasts. Sprouts’ fresh, never frozen and certified organic turkeys are antibiotic and hormone free, minimally processed and contain no artificial ingredients. They roam freely and are fed an organic diet. Sprouts’ fresh, never frozen natural turkeys are also raised cage-free and are minimally processed with no artificial ingredients and no added hormones.

Shoppers looking to save time can reserve a fresh, never frozen organic or natural turkey, or one of four fully prepared holiday meals in store or online. Fully prepared meals range from $29.99 to $79.99 and include a roasted boneless turkey breast (serves two), a natural whole turkey meal (serves six to eight) and a USDA choice beef rib roast meal (serves six to eight).

In November, ordering is available now through Nov. 22, and orders can be picked up Nov. 16 through Thanksgiving Day at 2 p.m. In December, ordering is available from Nov. 28 through Dec. 29. December orders can be picked up from Nov. 30 until Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. Order pickups resume on Dec. 26 and will be available through New Year’s Day at 6 p.m.

Now through Dec. 31, Sprouts will offer pre-packed “Grab ‘N Give” bags filled with pantry items that are discounted by 10 percent and available for shoppers to purchase and donate. This year, Sprouts has expanded the program, adding separate bags filled with natural body care essentials. Donation bags are approximately $10 and include items such as canned food, non-perishables, fruits and vegetables, and natural body care items such as toothpaste, deodorant and lip balm. Customers can simply leave the bags at donation bins near the store exit and Sprouts will transfer them to local food banks. Last year, Sprouts shoppers donated more than 256,000 bags of food, providing more than 1.6 million meals to local communities.
