Discount grocer Aldi is expanding its footprint further with plans to open its newest store in Lombard, Ill., on Jan. 11, the grocer announced.

The new location at 205 W Roosevelt Road is Aldi’s third to open this year, following the Jan. 3 opening of stores in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Visalia, Calif. Both of those locations were also new markets for the no-frills grocer.

The grand opening of the Lombard location will take place at 8:20 a.m. The first 100 customers will receive gift bags, a gift card, and the chance to enter a sweepstakes, the company said.

The discount grocer opened 14 locations in December and said last year that it aimed to open 120 new stores.
