Aldi opens stores in Illinois and Ohio
Since the beginning of the year, Aldi has opened multiple new locations across the nation in states like Florida, California, and Arizona
Aldi has opened a new store in Belleville, Ill., and is relocating a store in Elyria, Ohio, the company announced.
The Belleville store at 1805 Carlyle Ave. is the discount grocer’s first location in that city. The store opened for business on Feb. 15.
The Elyria store was relocated to 38275 Chestnut Ridge Rd. from another location at 426 Oberlin Rd., the company said.
“The replacement store provides an improved layout and ample refrigeration to accommodate an expanded fresh and convenient food selection,” Aldi said in a press release.
The Elyria location opened on Feb. 7.
The grand openings at both locations included gift bags, gift cards, and the chance to enter a sweepstakes to win a $500 Aldi gift card.
