Aldi to open three stores in Chicago, New Jersey, and Tennessee
The discount grocer now has over 2,300 locations
Discount grocer Aldi is opening three new stores in Chicago; Neptune, N.J.; and Millington, Tenn., on Thursday, March 7, the company announced.
The Chicago and Millington stores add two more shops to Aldi’s growing list of U.S. locations, while the Neptune store replaces a different location in that city, the grocer said in a press release.
The company did not disclose its total number of U.S. locations in its press announcements, but data analytics firm ScrapeHero puts the total at 2,357, as of Feb. 13.
Aldi plans to hand out gift bags and gift cards and will give shoppers a chance to enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend.
The grocer’s Chicago store is at 3930 N. Kilpatrick Ave.; the Neptune store is at 722 Route 35; and the Millington store is at 8699 U.S. Hwy 51 N, Unit 101.
