BJ’s to open its 233rd club Friday in Ohio

BJ’s Wholesale Club will open its seventh Ohio location Friday, bringing BJ’s total club count to 233. The new, 99,824-square-foot warehouse club will be located at 5900 N. Hamilton Rd. in New Albany, Ohio, which is in the greater Columbus area, the company said Monday.

“Our team is excited to expand our footprint in the state of Ohio and bring a brand-new club to the Columbus area,” said Ron Hight, manager of the New Albany club. “We can’t wait to open our doors on Friday to all of our new members and bring BJ’s unbeatable value and incredible savings to our local families in this new market.”

The club, which will include a BJ’s gas station, will feature fresh foods and produce, a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies and the retailer’s signature "treasure-hunt experience" for BJ’s members. 
Curbside pickup, ExpressPay and same-day delivery will also be available.

For a limited time, the club is offering a founding member offer for local shoppers interested in joining the club through Thursday. Local shoppers can sign up for a one-year BJ’s Inner Circle membership for $55. BJ’s said it is also offering local shoppers a one-year BJ’s Perks Rewards membership with BJ’s Easy Renewal for $110.

Looking to support the local community, BJ's Charitable Foundation has partnered with Mid-Ohio Food Collective, a food rescue partnership where the company donates unsold perishable food to Feeding America member food banks in its footprint.

BJ’s Wholesale Club is headquartered at its new Club Support Center located at 350 Campus Drive in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
