Coborn’s Inc. will break ground this month on a new grocery store along the Highway 55 and Highway 25 corridor in Buffalo, Minn.

The new store, which is scheduled to open in November, represents a reentry into the Buffalo market for the St. Cloud, Minn.-based retailer, local reports indicated. A Coborn’s at 205 First St. South closed in July 2016 because of limited space and no room to expand.

“Our goal is to serve the Buffalo community with expanded offerings and remarkable guest service and value, all in a brand-new location,” President and CEO Chris Coborn said in a local radio station report about the new store.

Features of the Buffalo store will include a dedication to fresh departments; an expanded assortment of products; a full-service Caribou Coffee; a drive-thru pharmacy; curbside pickup; and a fuel center.

When completed, it will be the 60th grocery store and the 29th Coborn’s supermarket in the company’s portfolio.
