Inside H-E-B’s supersized Georgetown store
The 121,000-square-foot store at Wolf Lakes Village is about twice the size of the location it replaced and features an expanded selection of products and services, including a two-story True Texas BBQ restaurant with a full-service bar.
Texas grocer H-E-B on Wednesday opened a new Georgetown supermarket, about 25 miles north of Austin. At 121,000 square feet, the new store replaces a 34-year-old location half that size that was less than a mile away.
“We’ve been part of Georgetown for more than 55 years and we look forward to serving this community with a larger store that offers a wide assortment of products and services,” Top Store Leader Kenny Scott said in a statement. “With an enhanced in-store experience and commitment to top-quality service and selection, this new store is tailored to serve the needs of this growing community.”

Indoor and outdoor seating, along with a full-service bar, is available at the store's two-story True Texas BBQ location.
There's a drive-thru pharmacy with two lanes and a patient education area.
The Georgetown store includes and extensive wine and beer department with local, national and international beverages.
Because of its larger size, the store is able to offer an extensive selection of organic foods and an expanded Healthy Living Department.
The new H-E-B includes a large Texas Backyard area, featuring items for grilling, gardening and outdoor entertaining.
The store includes a fuel station and a car wash.
The new location offers H-E-B Curbside and home delivery for online orders.
The new Wolf Lakes Village store also includes a full-service bakery and tortilleria, with a house-baked selection of desserts, breads, tortillas and more.
H-E-B currently operates two stores in Georgetown. The grocer opened its first store in the area in 1966. That 21,000-square-foot market remained in operation until 1989, the company said.
