Lidl continues to grow in New York City.

The German supermarket will open a location in Queens on Jan. 24. The store is 35,000 square feet and is the 174th Lidl location in the U.S.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which also will include music and giveaways. The first 100 shoppers will receive gift cards worth up to $100 and there will be a raffle where the winner will win free groceries for one year.

New York has been a breeding ground for Lidl stores as of late. In September, the discount grocer announced plans of opening a store in the Bronx following a ribbon cutting of a location in Manhattan in May.

In July, Lidl announced plans for a supermarket that will combine smaller stores within an existing shopping center in Yonkers.
