Kitchen & Market recently opened the doors to its latest small-format grocery store in the Seattle neighborhood of Eastlake. This is Kitchen & Market’s fifth location in the greater Seattle area.
The 5,000-square-foot store at 1616 Eastlake Ave. includes a European-style corner grocery model that offers meal kits, grab-and-go lunches, pantry staples and produce. The store also features indoor seating.
“We’re thrilled to become a central hub in the community where neighbors can meet and grab some great groceries on their way out,” said King.
Like its other store locations, Eastlake customers can expect local events, tastings and holiday gatherings at the store, Kitchen & Market said.
"I am so excited that Kitchen & Market is joining the Eastlake community,” said Stephanie King, founder and CEO of Kitchen & Market. “Customers can expect chef-prepared, locally sourced, delicious dinner solutions, a variety of grab-and-go options and pantry staples,” she said.
Customers can find grab-and-go options for breakfast and lunch, including smoothies, yogurt parfaits, soups, salads, sandwiches as well as grocery staples, including milk and eggs.
Kitchen & Market customers can choose from six chef-prepared meal kits on the menu that rotate based on seasonal offerings.
The current menu features items such as Chicken Parmesan, Grandpa Jack’s Chili & Cornbread, Sheet Pan Pork with Polenta, Bulgogi Fried Rice, Sheet Pan Chicken Shawarma and Autumn Squash Risotto. A turkey or chicken Thanksgiving feast is also available for pre-order.
Kitchen & Market was founded in 2021. It now operates five stores in the greater Seattle area, including Pike Place Market, Medina, Madison Valley, Yarrow Bay and Eastlake.
