California-based Superior Grocers has opened a new store in Las Vegas — the company’s first outside of California.

Last week, the Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based grocer held a grand opening for a new store on the eastern side of the Las Vegas Valley, according to a LinkedIn post from the grocer.

The Las Vegas location is Superior Grocers’ first store outside of California, according to its website. According to a post from the retailer’s Facebook page, the store carried 99 cent boba tea, as well as sushi.

The independently-owned Superior Grocers opened its first location in Covina, California, in 1981 and has over 47 locations.
