Donohoe Out, Stolarz In at Foodtown

AVENEL, N.J. — Bill Donohoe, president and chief operating officer of Foodtown Inc. and Allegiance Retail Services here, has left the company to pursue other opportunities, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

Michael Stolarz has been appointed president and COO, effective immediately, the company said. Stolarz is a former A&P and Pathmark executive.

As previously reported, Foodtown formed Allegiance in July to expand its co-op services to more independent supermarket operators.
