Walmart’s subscription-based Delivery Pass comes to Canada

Ottawa shoppers will get access first, followed by other cities before a country-wide rollout

Walmart is bringing its subscription-based Delivery Pass to Walmart Canada.

Starting in Ottawa, shoppers will be able to access the service, which offers free delivery on more than 65,000 items for either a monthly or annual fee. The cost is either $8.97 monthly or $89 annually.

Following the Ottawa launch, Delivery Pass will be offered to those living in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. The program will roll out to the rest of Canada by the end of summer.

Delivery Pass can be purchased through the Walmart app. When shopping through Walmart.ca or the Walmart Canada app, passholders can select a delivery time slot and add items to their cart ($35 minimum order before fees and taxes). At checkout, delivery fees will be waived automatically for next-day deliveries and passholders will have the opportunity to upgrade to same-day or express delivery for a discounted fee.
