SUNBURY, Pa. — Prices on more than 1,300 products have been reduced for 90 days at Weis Markets.
It marks the 11th round of price cuts since the 164-store chain began its “Price Freeze” initiative in January 2009. The current price freeze began on Sunday, July 14, and runs through Oct. 12.
“Our Prize Freeze program has generated consistent savings for our customers since 2009,” Kurt Schertle, Weis Markets’ executive vice president, sales and merchandising, said in a statement. “It is an extremely effective program that helps our customers lock in long-term savings at a time when they are looking for consistently strong values.”
