“We are pleased to expand our offering on Instacart to other cities throughout the United States,” said Sam Kim, director of marketing and management planning. “Customer feedback has been incredibly positive, and the best way to reach new customers is to offer same-day delivery.”
Instacart currently services 18 metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Austin, Boulder, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle and Washington.
“We’re excited to deliver those hard to find items like kimchi and curry to customers throughout more of our markets,” said Vishwa Chandra, VP of retail accounts at Instacart, San Francisco. “It’s important we continue to offer a wide variety of options on our platform, whether that be conventional grocery items, organic, or ethnic foods.
