Tops, Tim Hortons Announce Exclusive Agreement

Tops Friendly Markets yesterday announced an agreement with coffee, baked-goods and sandwich purveyor Tim Hortons that will place full-service restaurants or self-serve kiosks in 82 Tops supermarkets and Tops Express locations in western New York (including Rochester), central New York and northwestern Pennsylvania.

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets yesterday announced an agreement with coffee, baked-goods and sandwich purveyor Tim Hortons that will place full-service restaurants or self-serve kiosks in 82 Tops supermarkets and Tops Express locations in western New York (including Rochester), central New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. "We are excited about the mutually exclusive partnership between Tops and Tim Hortons," said Frank Curci, Tops' president and chief executive officer. "We're two strong and growing brands in the markets we serve and we share a common goal of meeting the needs of our time-sensitive customers while providing them with quality products. Having Tim Hortons products in our stores will undoubtedly enhance our customers' total shopping experience."
