Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets Introduce New Look for Private Label Products

Customers at GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN'S Food Markets will soon notice their favorite GIANT and MARTIN'S own brand of products are getting a makeover. The company is introducing a new packaging design that supports the concept of great quality at an excellent value for its customers. The new packaging is beginning to hit store shelves this month and will continue through the end of the year as nearly 2,000 products are replenished and rebranded.


"We are changing our packaging to this great new look for all of our GIANT and MARTIN'S own brand products to signal that we have improved the quality of our products," said Jeff Beaulieu, vice president of sales and merchandising. "More than 250,000 customers have tested the quality of our own brand of products and hundreds of items have been reformulated to improve upon taste and quality as a result of this consumer feedback. Our consumers can buy with confidence as our new design reflects a great product with unsurpassed value."


GIANT/MARTIN'S is utilizing its weekly circular, website, and in-store signage to introduce the new packaging to its customers. Shelf signage also helps alert customers to the new packaging as they can find their favorite GIANT and MARTIN'S own brand of products in the same location on the shelf.
