Whole Foods Opens In-Store Spa

DALLAS - Whole Foods Market, Austin, Texas, has opened a new food emporium format store here that includes a 4,500-square-foot full-service day spa, the company reported last week. The spa, called ReFresh - The Everyday Spa At Whole Foods Market, is located in a private facility above the store and offers services ranging from manicures to hot stone massage.

DALLAS - Whole Foods Market, Austin, Texas, has opened a new food emporium format store here that includes a 4,500-square-foot full-service day spa, the company reported last week. The spa, called ReFresh - The Everyday Spa At Whole Foods Market, is located in a private facility above the store and offers services ranging from manicures to hot stone massage. A concierge team is available to shop for customers while they are at the spa and a staff dietitian is available. A wellness classroom and spa retail space featuring natural and organic skin care, home spa items, organic cotton clothing and gifts are featured along with private treatment rooms. “Our new store with its spa is taking the Whole Foods experience in Dallas to a whole other level. It‘s a natural response to our guests‘ trust in our quality standards, customer service and unmatched shopping experience,” said Mark Dixon, president of the Southwest region of Whole Foods. Other in-store offerings include a seafood smoker, a New York style deli, and in-house dry aging for natural beef.
