The closure will affect 116 employees, Delhaize said in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice filed with the state of Florida on Monday. Workers at this facility are eligible to apply for other positions within the company, a Delhazie spokeswoman said.

Delhaize earlier this year agreed to sell its Harveys, Sweetbay and Reid’s banners to Jacksonville, Fla.-based Bi-Lo Holdings.
