Publix is getting ready to open the doors to its latest locations in Louisville, Ky., with an introductory website for its future Kentuckian shoppers. The “Hello, Kentucky” website sends the latest updates on their future Publix product offerings, grand opening specials, and promotions.
The Florida-based grocer is planning on opening a 55,701-square-foot store in Louisville’s Terra Crossing Shopping Center, scheduled to open later this year. Publix said that the strategy behind the website is to create a one-stop-shop where Kentuckians can get to know the grocer as a company before it opens its doors.
The website includes a video introduction, where customers can sign up for grand opening specials and deals, information on products, and services offered including pharmacy, Publix Liquors, and delivery or pickup options, etc.
Publix Super Markets recently expanded into new markets in the Carolinas and Virginia in addition to the anticipated Kentucky location. It also has more locations underway in Kentucky including two more stores in Louisville and two planned for Lexington.
