Walmart is now offering its rotisserie chicken for delivery nationwide via its online delivery service. According to Walmart, the hot rotisserie chickens have become a favorite among shoppers, especially in their original and lemon pepper flavors.
Historically, Walmart could only offer cold chicken for online delivery.
Shoppers can log into the Walmart app or head to Walmart.com to select how, when, and where they want their chicken (and other items) delivered. In addition to the expansion, the retailer is simultaneously rolling out a new recipe hub along with $6 meals on its website.
Highlights of these rollouts include:
- Customers can now access a collection of recipes
- All ingredients can be added to customers’ carts for pickup or delivery with one click
- Lower prices on popular items now through Oct. 15
- Meal solutions, coupled with curated shopping lists to feed the family for less than $6
Walmart said it is continuing to enhance its delivery and digital integrations to “make dinner time easier for customers.”
