Eight finalists competed for the coveted Best New Retail Product Award which was presented at the Seafood Expo North America show in Boston on Sunday.

The finalists were selected from a pool of dozens of new product entries. Three industry experts evaluated the seafood items on their uniqueness and appropriateness for the market, taste profile, packaging, market potential, convenience, nutritional value and originality.
