Seafood gaining ground in breakfast as consumer preferences shift

While dinner is the most prominent daypart for seafood, the category’s role in breakfast consumption is on the rise, according to a recent study.

More than 1,000 U.S. respondents were surveyed for Datassential’s Seafood Keynote Report, which was released in September. The study sheds light on current consumer tastes in seafood. Three hundred forty-eight operators—including 26 retailers—weighed in as well.
