“It's an event that's as big as the Lone Star State,” H-E-B states in promotional materials.

Samples of locally produced products are being offered storewide. Among the private-label samples: H-E-B Creamy Creations Premium Ice Cream, H-E-B Lemonade Made with Texas Honey, H-E-B Texas Heritage Premium Sausage and H-E-B Specialty Series BBQ Sauce.

As part of the promotion, shoppers who purchase an H-E-B fully cooked brisket get H-E-B’s private label Texas-shaped tortilla chips free. The event kicked off Wednesday and runs through March 11.
