EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — U.K.-based Tesco plans to test its “click and collect” online shopping service at its Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market chain based here, according to a report in the Financial Times.
Philip Clarke, Tesco’s chief executive, told investors in the U.S. that he would trial a version of the service by the end of this year, the report said. The service allows shoppers to order online and pick up their purchases in stores.
