BATAVIA, Ill. — Aldi here has selected a transportation management system from RedPrairie, Milwaukee, to coordinate shipments across its network of North American distribution centers.

The system streamlines the transportation life cycle and provides a collaborative planning and scheduling environment, said RedPrairie. Aldi operates nearly 1,000 stores in the U.S.
