BJ’s Wholesale Club is taking its dessert assortment to the next level by offering new, upscale two-tiered Wellsley Farms cakes that are perfect for any occasion and sell for a fraction of specialty bakery prices, say BJ's officials.

“Our members know they can rely on us for affordable, delicious cakes for all of their special celebrations,” says David Hay, bakery buyer for BJ’s Wholesale Club. “Now we’re thrilled to offer two-tier cakes that can be decorated with everything from Darth Vader to photos to customized designs. And of course they’re baked with the finest fresh ingredients that our Members have enjoyed over the years.”

The two-tier cake features a five-inch round cake stacked on top of a 10-inch round cake. Available in a gold cake with a smooth and creamy vanilla buttercream icing, the tiered cakes are an affordable $29.99 and can serve 40 or more guests.

The festive tiered cakes are available in 16 of today’s most popular licensed kid themes including Finding Dory, Angry Birds, Darth Vader, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol, Hello Kitty, Sesame Street, as well as a selection of Disney princesses and superhero classics.

Along with kid-themed birthday cakes, BJ’s bakers can collaborate with members to create eye-catching customized cakes for milestones such as anniversaries, showers and even weddings. BJ’s bakers can add any personalized touch at no additional charge, whether it’s a photo of the guest-of-honor, a special type of icing design or a sentimental keepsake.

To order a Wellsley Farms two-tiered cake, customers visit any BJ’s Wholesale Club bakery and fill out an order form. Orders placed within 24-hour notice are preferred.
