Two well-known brands—Sara Lee and Skippy—are teaming up to spark some in-store fun this summer. Bimbo Bakeries USA, owner of Sara Lee North American Fresh Bakery, and Hormel Foods LLC have established a merchandising effort together to showcase both the all-new Classic White Bread from Sara Lee that hit shelves in April 2019 and Skippy's Royal Family of Peanut Butter.

The “Summer of Fun” campaign will consist of in-store displays and a shared online platform, with in-store displays heralding the campaign in retailers throughout the country.

A spokesperson for the campaign, which kicks off this week, said the partnership includes online platforms in the form of an exclusive partner website and a digital catalog, plus social media postings and shared media designed to help participating retailers engage and interact with customers.

The two brands have also teamed with Visit Myrtle Beach and will be giving away a free vacation. One contest winner and up to three guests can enter for a chance to win a trip this summer to one of the East Coast's main attractions in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Customers will also have access to their own Summer of Fun digital catalog with summer-inspired recipe ideas that include Sara Lee bread and Skippy peanut butter along with summer hacks on beach activities and more ideas to help get customers excited about summer.
