JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winn-Dixie Stores announced the appointment of Rusty Findlay to director of deli operations, responsible for all aspects of department operations, with a focus on developing programs to improve product selection and customer service. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winn-Dixie Stores announced the appointment of Rusty Findlay to director of deli operations, responsible for all aspects of department operations, with a focus on developing programs to improve product selection and customer service. Findlay fills a spot that was managed on an interim basis while a search for a permanent successor was conducted, chain officials said. He reports to Dick Judd, senior vice president of supply chain and merchandising. Prior to this, Findlay served as senior vice president of retail food service for ConAgra Foods where he created and managed sales, products and programs for supermarket chains and club stores, including signature deli programs for Safeway and Albertsons. Winn-Dixie Stores operates 1,075 stores in 12 states and the Bahamas.
