Roche Bros. Names Pfeil President 2009-09-28

Gary Pfeil has been named president of Roche Bros. Supermarkets, the company here said.

WELLESLEY HILLS, Mass. — Gary Pfeil has been named president of Roche Bros. Supermarkets, the company here said.

Pfeil has been with Roche Bros. since 1996 and was named vice president and general manager in 2004 with responsibility for much of the day-to-day decision-making and operation of Roche Bros, the retailer said.

“Gary has worked tirelessly and with much heart to help bring Roche Bros. to our next level,” Ed Roche, chief operating officer and co-owner of the company, said in a statement. Ed Roche had formerly served as both president and COO; he remains COO.

Roche Bros. operates 15 Roche Bros. Supermarkets and three Sudbury Farms in eastern Massachusetts.
