Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pa., has promoted Wayne Bailey to the role of SVP of supply chain and logistics, and Bob Cline, VP of talent development and associate relations.

In his new role, Bailey, who was VP of supply chain and logistics, will oversee inventory management including the sourcing and procurement of products along with distribution operations and transportation. He also oversees merchandising technologies, reverse logistics and the company’s manufacturing facilities. He will report to Kurt Schertle, COO.

As VP of talent development and associate relations, Cline will oversee talent and organization development, succession management, associate relations and engagement, career development programs, human resources policies and practices, and potential third party risk intervention.

Prior to his promotion, Cline was director of training and organization development. He will report to Jim Marcil, SVP of human resources.
