BATAVIA. Ill. — Aldi here has launched a national advertising campaign that explains some of the advantages of shopping at a non-frills store like Aldi.

Under the banner "Aldi Truths," the campaign reportedly includes statements such as: "Loyalty shouldn't require a card."; "You can't eat frills, so why pay for them?"; and "The same is always better when it costs less."

The campaign involves television, fliers, billboards and social media.
