TYLER, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co. said last week that it would develop a new concept store — to be known as Fresh by Brookshire’s — near its headquarters here. The store, which will anchor a new shopping center to be known as the Ridge at Oak Hills, is expected to open late next year and would include a 1.3-acre park co-developed by Brookshire and developer Oak Properties, Brookshire officials said. The retailer in a statement said Fresh by Brookshire’s “will offer food varieties and shopping experiences not available elsewhere in the region,” but did not provide further detail. Brookshire operates more than 150 stores under the Brookshire’s, ALPS, Super 1 and Ole Foods names.
