TORONTO — Canadian Tire Corp., which operates a chain of 474 stores across Canada specializing in auto, leisure and outdoor products, is planning to test a limited grocery offering in two stores, according to reports. The company will reported devote about 1% of its floor space in two stores in Orleans and Welland, Ontario, where it plans to test a new retail concept. Reports said the grocery offering will include some frozen products, as well as everyday grocery items like milk and bread. There were no immediate plans for further rollout, the reports said.
