ST. LOUIS — Culinaria, Schnuck Markets’ new downtown grocery, officially opened for business yesterday.

The store, said to be the first full-service grocery in downtown St. Louis in more than 20 years, is an urban store with 21,000 square feet on the first level and a 6,000-square-foot mezzanine. The store features a variety of prepared foods and a new line of private label goods under the Culinaria name.

Schnucks also debuted a new Web site for the store at www.culinariaschnucks.com.
