Curbside, the mobile commerce app providing “click-and-collect” shopping for retailers including select Target stores, on Wednesday said it launched a partnership with Uber Rush providing a delivery option for shoppers that will reduce complexity and cost for retailers.

Shoppers who select the Uber Rush option are presented with delivery window based on distance to the nearest store. Then, a courier from Uber Rush will pick up your order and bring it to you.

According to Curbside, the handoff through Uber Rush decreases the time to fulfill customers’ orders and reduces overhead costs, “enabling brick and mortar retailers to meet customers where and when it’s most convenient for them.”

Curbside launched in October 2014 at select Target stores.
