MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P has re-opened its Pompton Plains, N.J., store, two months after a flood forced the store to close.

The remodeled store features a community center available free to all residents and local organizations for use with advance registration, A&P said. The room can accommodate up to 30 people.

Officials said the flooding – a result of a storm causing the nearby Pompton River to overflow – allowed A&P to recast the store in its latest design.
