ELKHORN, Wis. — Two Frank's County Market stores here and in East Troy, Wis., are planning to convert to the Piggly Wiggly banner on March 1 after switching suppliers, the owner of the stores told SN.

The two-store group, founded in 1991, had been supplied by Minneapolis-based Supervalu, but has now joined Piggly Wiggly Midwest, the retailer and wholesaler based in Sheboygan, Wis.

Frank Lueptow, owner of the stores, said he expected the stores to begin receiving product from Piggly Wiggly, which operates 31 corporate stores and franchises 78 locations, before March 1. The stores are about 60 to 70 miles from Piggly Wiggly's Sheboygan warehouse, he said.
