PORTLAND, Ore. — Fred Meyer Stores here has agreed to settle a sexual harassment suit for $485,000, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said last week. The suit was filed earlier this year on behalf of three female employees at a single location who complained that a store manager and a store operations director subjected them to “graphic sexual discussions, unwanted touching and requests for sexual favors,” according to reports. Fred Meyer Stores is a division of Kroger Co., Cincinnati.
