George W. Bush to Speak at NGA Convention

The National Grocers Association here said yesterday that former President George W. Bush will deliver the keynote speech at the association's 2010 Annual Conventional and Supermarket Showcase in Las Vegas in February.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Grocers Association here said yesterday that former President George W. Bush will deliver the keynote speech at the association's 2010 Annual Conventional and Supermarket Showcase in Las Vegas in February.

The conference, titled "Growing Consumer Value: A Marketplace Opportunity in a Recovering Economy," will also include a tribute to Thomas K. Zaucha's 28-year career at NGA. Zaucha previously said he would retire as president and chief executive officer of the association, which represents independent supermarkets, next year.
