Giant Eagle Debuts Market District in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Giant Eagle held grand opening ceremonies for a new Market District store that opened here Thursday — the fourth in the chain and its first in Ohio. A gourmet megastore featuring extensive prepared foods, wines and specialty departments, Market District debuted in Giant Eagle’s Pittsburgh base in 2006. Grand opening events at the 127,000-square-foot Columbus store included a scheduled appearance by Adam Richman, host of the “Man vs. Food” programs on the Travel Channel.
