A 20-SKU basket shopped via the click-and-collect service at a Giant Food (fulfilled by Peapod) in Bethesda, Md., was less expensive than a nearby Harris Teeter during three separate shopping periods.
Figuring into the basket totals were service fees of $2.95 for baskets fulfilled by Peapod at Giant, and $4.95 for baskets purchased at Harris Teeter. Loyalty club pricing is not reflected.
