WESLACO, Texas — A turbine to collect and generate wind energy was installed this week at H. E. Butt Grocery’s warehouse here, reports said. The equipment from Wind Energy Corp. of Elizabeth, Ky., is part of a partnership between H-E-B and Wind Energy to test wind power opportunities in South Texas announced earlier this year. The turbine was installed on a 100-foot tower near the warehouse this week, the San Antonio Business Journal said.
