M-C McLane International said it is changing its name to McLane Global — Trading, Logistics and Sales to reflect its burgeoning global business and other long-term growth strategies.

HOUSTON — M-C McLane International here said yesterday it is changing its name to McLane Global - Trading, Logistics and Sales to reflect its burgeoning global business and other long-term growth strategies.

The company, which concentrates on the product import, export and international sourcing business, said it will bring its experience and strength to its global sourcing and domestic sales divisions, as well as its logistical coordination business.

The company also said it plans to open a new 64,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center near Bush Intercontinental Airport here early next year.
