CARLISLE, Pa. — Martin’s Food, a banner of Giant-Carlisle here, this week opened its newest store in Rising Sun, Md., nearly doubling the size of a neighboring store it replaces. The 73,000-square-foot store, which opened Wednesday, features an in-store pharmacy and specialty departments for bakery, floral, meat, seafood, deli and natural/organic products, the company said. Centro Properties Group, New York, developer of the new store and the Rising Sun Towne Center, has acquired the 43,000-square-foot former Martin’s location, which will become available for lease this fall.
