New Market Basket Opens in New Hampshire

TEWKSBURY, Mass. — Demoulas Super Markets here has opened a 95,700-square-foot Market Basket store in Swanzey, N.H.

According to local reports the company has hired 300 workers to staff the store, which will compete with Shaw’s, Hannaford Bros. and Price Outlets in the Keene, N.H., area. Demoulas operates 60 stores with estimated annual sales of $3 billion.
