Niemann to Acquire 2 IGA Stores

QUINCY, Ill. — Niemann Foods here has agreed to acquire two Jerry’s IGA stores from Kirby Foods, the companies said last week. Terms were not disclosed.

QUINCY, Ill. — Niemann Foods here has agreed to acquire two Jerry’s IGA stores from Kirby Foods, the companies said last week. Terms were not disclosed.

Niemann is expected to rebrand the stores, located in Champaign, Ill., and Rantoul, Ill., under its County Market banner within the next two months. In addition, Kirby Foods said it would close a third Jerry’s IGA location in Champaign. Champaign-based Kirby operates 16 other stores under the IGA and Save-A-Lot banners in Illinois and Indiana.
