Save-A-Lot to Build New DC
ST. LOUIS — Save-A-Lot said it would build a 325,000-square-foot distribution center in Lexington, N.C. The new $24 million facility, scheduled to open in December of 2011, will help Save-A-Lot service the company’s growth plans in the Carolinas and better serve its existing stores, the company said.

ST. LOUIS — Save-A-Lot said it would build a 325,000-square-foot distribution center in Lexington, N.C. The new $24 million facility, scheduled to open in December of 2011, will help Save-A-Lot service the company’s growth plans in the Carolinas and better serve its existing stores, the company said. The company last week opened five co-branded Save-A-Lot/Rite Aid stores in Greenville, S.C., part of a 10-store partnership with the Camp Hill, Pa.-based drug retailer.
