Save Mart Supermarkets said last week it will offer customers the chance to win up to $1 million in an online sweepstakes tied to the NCAA college basketball tournament.

MODESTO, Calif. — Save Mart Supermarkets here said last week it will offer customers the chance to win up to $1 million in an online sweepstakes tied to the NCAA college basketball tournament. Beginning at 6 p.m. on March 16 and ending at 2:30 p.m. April 7, contestants can go to www.savemart.com or www.luckysupermarkets.com to predict the winning teams in each round of the tournament and the final score of the final game of the tournament. Entries received by March 20, before the first round of the tournament starts, will be eligible for a Perfect Picks prize; entries received before the start of the semi-final round March 31 will be eligible for the Championship Game bonus prize. "March Madness brings unparalleled excitement to sports fans," John Kelly, vice president, marketing, said. "The College Basketball Madness Sweepstakes will test our customers' sports savvy — or luck — and give the best of them up to a million dollars' worth of bragging rights." The contest is only open to residents of certain California and Nevada counties in Save Mart’s operating area.
